Originally located in Springfield, the Turnverein
settled in its new home in Agawam in 1968 where it continues to enrich not only its
members but the entire community with its physical education and social affairs. |

Overlooking the pond you see the picnic area surrounded
by trees making it a serene and peaceful spot to enjoy nature. This area is designated for
picnics, fishing and swimming. A patio is available for barbecues and cocktail
parties. |

The Erna Sievers Memorial Hall serves the physical
education program. The exercise apparatus can be found in here for children and adult
gymnastic functions, exhibitions, and volleyball. It also accommodates the choral
group rehearsals on Wednesday evenings. |

The four lane bowling alley is located in the basement.
It accommodates different leagues including mixed couples from Monday thru Thursday
evenings. It is a great place to meet new friends. |

The Erna Sievers Hall can be adapted to fit a variety
of occasions. It is available for private parties such as bridal showers, wedding
receptions and conferences. The hall accommodates up to 300 people. The Frank Astaldi Hall
on the lower level is for smaller functions with a seating capacity of 70 people. If you
are just looking to socialize in the evening, the rustic bar is the place to met old and
new members. |
